Uniquely wild designs
from Whipstock Hill Farm
~
Handcrafted in Vermont
We’re Anne Snyder and David Auty and we live and work on Whipstock Hill Farm. We make sustainable designs from natural materials that we grow and forage on the farm.
Whipstock Hill Farm is located in southwestern Vermont. This 130 acre family farm encompasses hayfields, hedgerows, gardens, hills, woods, wetlands, and streams. Canada geese, deer, coyotes, squirrels, and flocks of birds share the land and sky.
We grow and forage for materials all over the farm, then build everything in the hay barn workshop. We try to let the natural world inform our designs.
During every season we search the farm, then find and gather nature’s gifts. We’re responsible for being faithful stewards of the land in return for such abundance.
